How to Get Started
For most projects, the Scientific Method will serve as your guide:
- Gather information about something that interests you. Start writing everything down in your Science Fair notebook.
- Ask a question that can be tested in an experiment.
- Make a hypothesis.
- Perform your experiment.
- Record your results.
- Repeat your experiment; record more results.
- Analyze your results.
- Communicate your results. This is what your Science Fair board will showcase!
The website www.sciencebuddies.org is a wonderful resource for both science fair newcomers and competitive experimenters!
